In Summer 2024, through National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) MSIIP, I was selected to contribute to a project in the Applied Statistics Group. There, I worked with Dr. Jason Bernstein and Dr. Philip Myint to quickly predict the phase diagrams of Equation-of-State (EOS) tables. My models achieved predictive accuracy of 97% at speeds that could significantly accelerate computational simulations vital to national security. My poster received an Outstanding Graduate Poster Award at the Empowering Excellence: Women in Math Workshop (WIMSATX) and an Honorable Mention for the ASA Student Poster Award at CoDA 2025, out of 50+ posters.
